I took Olivia to get new pictures taken because she hasn't had pictures since she turned one and she clearly has lots more hair and even has more teeth, finally! This time around was A LOT more difficult to get a good picture than it ever has been. Not only because I am 9 months pregnant but because she just loves to run around. Sitting still and looking at the camera is not her top priority. Some how we got some beautiful and great shots of her and even one with mama. That one was by pure luck. Trust me, I don't know how the photographer got that one, I literally grabbed her sat her down and smiled for the camera and had no idea what she was doing. As you can tell, she was luckily flashing that million dollar Livie smile.
She's even showing off new teeth!! The tooth count is now up to 8 but it has stopped (at least for now). She has her top and bottom 2 front teeth and top and bottom 2 molars, but that's it. No mouth full of teeth just yet. I guess we'll have to wait until her second birthday for more teeth to appear. Not sure. Olivia will be 18 months on Friday and so begins the real countdown for when her new little brother comes. My due date is October 27th, but I have a strong feeling he will be making his grand entrance just a bit early. I'm not sure why, I just have this feeling he's ready to go and he's ready to go now. A month early may be a bit too early, but I'm ready at any time. This time around has been a lot more trying than it was with Olivia. I'm going to chalk that up to carrying a boy. He's just showing me what boys are all about and giving me fair warning. Olivia is very excited about becoming a big sister. I don't think she really understands what is about to happen, but if you ask her where Jake or her brother is, she'll point to her own tummy and say brudder. It's so cute. Then you can correct her and point to my tummy and she will hug or kiss it and some times say Jay, which means Jake.
Olivia talks a lot, but you might not always understand what she's saying. She says full sentences but not full words. You have to just know what she's talking about. Or she just babbles and says the last word clearly. She's a blast. She's getting so big, time is going by so fast. We'll keep the blog updated on Jake's arrival.
